Can sables be pets

No. They look cute but they have sharp little teeth and quite capable of giving a painful bite. Many places consider it illegal to own as a pet.

Pet foods have been manufactured since eight decades in USA and Europe. Today there are manufacturing plants in most developed countries. The core products are nutritionally well balanced to give a complete diet for an animal so that they can live a healthy life if fed only on the pet food.

There are many types of Pets in the modern world, but dogs and cats dominate the production in the pet food market by a large margin of approximately 4 billion pounds worldwide. Other pet foods are for fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and more.

Five main types of Dog food

Dry, canned semi moist home cooked Raw

Dry food is the most economical type of commercial dog food, hence high in demand. It lasts for long time and does not need refrigeration. It’s also good for dog’s teeth health as chewing dry crunchy food helps to reduce tartar build up. Chose a brand that uses wholesome food as its primary ingredient.

Canned

Most dogs love canned or wet food. It has long shelf life but can be expensive. Just be careful about the nutritional value. It should be labeled as 100℅ nutritionally complete.

Semi moist

They are shaped like pork chops, burgers or other meaty foods. They are rich in artificial flavours and colourings and least nutritional. It can be given only as an occasional treat to your dog.

Home cooked

Feeding your dog a home cooked food is expensive and time consuming. Make sure you are well versed with canine nutrition to make sure your dog is not missing out on any vital nutrients.

Raw

A raw diet consists of raw meat, preferably with some bones and organs mixed in. Before starting a raw diet for your dog, talk to your vet about the risks and benefits involved.
